The Science behind Rudraksha
The botanical or scientific name of Rudraksha tree is labelled as Elaeocarpus Ganitrus Roxb, which is part of the Tiliaceae family, a gigantic broad green-leaved tree containing a wide crown. The habitat of the tree is said to have been originated in the sea-coast, which extends up to 2,000 meters.
Geographically, the trees are seen to grow abundantly and naturally all across the subtropical and tropical areas. The trees have been seen to grow quite fast and are known to carry the fruits/seeds within seven years. The Rudraksha trees are abundantly found in Nepal, in some parts of India, and also in the Himalayan slopes.
